Blessed with Grace and Joy

His Grace is like the wind,
Breath and life ascend.

Flowing freely on a gentle breeze
Releasing the debt of sin.

Eyes that can now fully see.
Forgiveness granted to
All those who Believe.

Rising through the air
Far and reaching wide to declare,

That Jesus gives us His amazing grace,
Which brings comfort to embrace.

Our blessed hope,
Our strength,
Our Savior;
Declared Worthy
we have found favor.

In His sacrificial love thereof;
our spirits are warmed by thy promise
of heaven above.

Bringing to our hearts which He faithfully employs
Awakening us to an abundance of joy —
Here on earth and for all eternity forevermore.

Salvation provided to whosoever will.
A gift freely given; graciously awaiting
all those even still.

Jesus died to prove His love.
The debt of sin paid for in full
by His precious Blood.

For whenever we feel lost
We can look to — The Cross,

And be reminded that
nothing can ever replace or destroy
His atoning sacrifice,
which proclaims that our lives are
Blessed with Grace and Joy.

JOY COMES IN THE MORNING

Photo by Jackson David on Unsplash

Remember that pain and sorrow

doesn’t last forever;

Joy does come in the morning.

You may not feel it today,

Maybe not even tomorrow,

But, eventually you will

breathe in the calmness of the cool air,

Feel the warming embrace

of the sun’s rays upon your face,

And dance once again

beneath the brightest bluest skies.

Look up beautiful one…

Peace is just over the horizon.

“Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy.”

A Joyful Return to Zion

Psalms 126:1-6

The people are encouraged to preserve in the knowledge that God will again restore His people.

The historical setting of this psalm focuses around the return of the exiles from captivity in Babylon as permitted by the decree of King Cyrus of Persia in 538 B.C.

Joy accompanied this release from captivity.
